Competition Rules

EACH ENTRY MUST BE MADE FOR OR ON BEHALF OF A BOWLING CLUB.
ONLY 1 ENTRY PER CLUB ALLOWED.
ENTRIES ON BEHALF OF INDIVIDUALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
A TEAM / ENTRY WILL CONSIST OF 12 PLAYERS IN TOTAL, COMPETING IN 5 DISCIPLINES.
BADGED PLAYER RESTRICTIONS WILL APPLY.

(a)-UNBADGED SINGLES   21 Shots   4 Bowls Per Player
(b)- 2 WOOD PAIRS   *1  21 Shots
(c) - 4 WOOD PAIRS   *1   21 Ends
(d) - TRIPLE   *1   18 Ends   3 Bowls Per Player
(e) -FOUR (Rink)   *2   21 Ends   2 Bowls Per Player
1 POINT WILL BE AWARDED FOR A WIN IN EACH DISCIPLINE.
A MATCH WILL BE DECIDED ON TOTAL POINTS AWARDED.
THE HOME TEAM IN EACH DRAW WILL BE THE CHALLENGER.
IN ALL ROUNDS INCLUDING THE SEMI-FINAL THE MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED ON A HOME AND AWAY BASIS.
ON THE SAME DAY AT THE CHALLENGER'S HOME VENUE THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES WILL BE PLAYED;
(a) -  UNBADGED SINGLES
(b) -  2 WOOD PAIRS
(d) -  TRIPLE
ON THE SAME DAY AT THE OPPONENT'S VENUE THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES WILL BE PLAYED;
(c) -  4 WOOD PAIRS
(e) -  FOUR (Rink)
ALL MATCHES IN EACH DISCIPLINE MUST BE PLAYED TO A RESULT, WITH AN EXTRA END PLAYED IF NECESSARY.
THE FINAL OF THE COMPETITION WILL BE PLAYED AT THE VENUE OF THE GROUP NINE FINALS.
FOR THE FINAL ALL 5 DISCIPLINES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE SAME VENUE, ON THE SAME DAY.
ALL SCORECARDS MUST BE SIGNED BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH CLUB COMPETING IN EACH DISCIPLINE.
A CLUB MAY USE THE OPTION OF FIELDING DIFFERENT PLAYERS TO THE ORIGINAL TEAM IN SUCCEEDING TIES OF THE COMPETITION,OR USE CURRENT PLAYERS IN A DIFFERENT DISCIPLINE.
THE SUBSTITUTE PLAYER(S) WILL NOT HAVE PLAYED IN ANOTHER DIFFERENT OR DEFEATED ENTRY FOR ANOTHER CLUB THAT SEASON. BADGED RESTRICTIONS ALWAYS APPLY.
THE MATCH RESULT MUST BE REPORTED TO THE COMPETITION SECRETARY ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH TAKING PLACE.
CONFIRMATION OF THE RESULT WITH SCORECARDS MUST FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY BY 1ST CLASS POST OR HAND DELIVERY.
REFERENCE SHOULD BE MADE TO COMPETITION SHEETS FOR SPECIFIC ROUND DATES.
EACH CLUB / ENTRY SHALL HAVE THE OPTION OF PLAYING A MATCH PREVIOUS TO A SPECIFIC ROUND DATE BY MUTUAL CONSENT, EXCLUDING THE FINAL (RULE 10 STILL APPLIES).

IN THE EVENT OF ANY DISPUTE OR MATTERS ARISING FROM THESE COMPETITION RULES, THE DECISION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND COMPETITION SECRETARY SHALL BE FINAL.
